Fabulous idea to do applique to cover up stains. With the applique, I use double sided interfacing to attach the coloured fabric, and attach a stabiliser on the back behind it. The stabiliser helps tremendously with the sewing.. the baby gap tshirt was actually very easy to sew onto.

Cute! Was it hard sewing on the knit fabric? I've been thinking about doing that.. mostly to cover up stains!
